Does everyone in your family know what to do if your home catches fire while you are inside? What will you and your co-workers do if your workplace begins to burn? October 8-14 has been designated as Fire Prevention Week. This is a good reminder to make a plan for your family and co-workers and to schedule fire drills to practice those plans. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has several good resources on their website for planning; use this link to find ideas and materials for protecting your loved ones.

This information is meant to be a broad overview and should not be the only source you consult for evaluating your risk management needs. Adherence to the above guidelines does not ensure coverage under your policy, nor does it guarantee your risk will be accepted by our company or that your property or operations are safe, healthful, or in compliance with laws, rules, or regulations. Coverage is determined by specific policy provisions, limitations and exclusions that can only be expressed in the policy itself.
