January tends to be a long, cold month in Missouri, but at Barton we are still celebrating a couple rays of sunshine: Linda McKay and Dave Barrett both have work anniversaries this month.
Linda is the longest serving employee currently working at Barton. She began her illustrious career here in 1975. When she was hired, Linda served as a billing clerk. She eventually worked her way up to underwriting and spent many years as a Personal Lines Underwriter, and then was the Personal Lines Manager. Her present position is Director of Policy Production, where she supervises the production of our policies and makes sure day-to-day processes work smoothly to get our policies out the door. We could all learn a thing or two from Linda’s experience, and we are pleased as punch she has stuck with us for so long!
Dave was hired in 2018 as our Marketing Representative. He spends his days traveling our beautiful state to visit with our agents, representing Barton at trade/industry events, and even stopping in to see potential agents. Dave is always wearing a smile, and with his many years of experience in the insurance industry, we are very fortunate he came on board with us!
